This is an original mixed media painting entitled True. It is signed on the front and back, and it is ready to hang.

I create small paintings as a way to practice new styles and experiment with different mediums, so each mini piece is truly unique. They are also very affordably priced and make fun, meaningful gifts.

This piece features a snow leopard and a tiger that began as photographs I took during visits to local zoos and are collaged directly into the artwork. From there, the composition leans into a softer, more layered abstraction, with acrylic paint and colored pencil worked intuitively across the surface. Thick applications of paint using an impasto technique create raised texture and movement, while cool blues, soft whites, and energetic pops of pink bring contrast and emotion. The word true grounds the piece with a sense of honesty and quiet strength.

Exchange Policy

I want every collector to feel confident bringing an original painting into their home. If within 7 days of delivery you feel an exchange would be a better fit, the artwork may be returned in its original condition for studio credit. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

Because each painting is one-of-a-kind, refunds are not offered. If a returned artwork arrives with damage or signs of use, the cost of restoration or loss in value will be deducted from the studio credit.
