This is an original acrylic painting entitled Gold Goat, painted in 2026. It is signed on the front and back, and it is ready to hang.
This little goat is painted with soft pastel tones and gentle brushwork to feel sweet, calm, and quietly curious. I kept the expression open and friendly, with lavender and blush details that give the face a warm, almost playful personality.
The background is made with reflective gold paint, so it softly catches light and shimmers as you move around the room. It is not a flat gold color. It changes with the direction of the light, giving the painting a subtle glow that makes the goat feel gently illuminated.
I painted this piece to celebrate that peaceful, steady nature goats have. There is something comforting about their calm confidence, and I wanted this painting to feel like a small, warm presence in your space that makes you smile every time you see it.
Size of the Painting: 6 x 8 x 1.5 inches
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
