I create small paintings as a way to practice new styles and experiment with different mediums, so each mini piece is truly unique. They are also very affordably priced and make fun, meaningful gifts.

This piece features a white tiger that began as a photograph I took at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard, Kansas, which is collaged directly into the artwork. From there, the piece opens up into a more abstract exploration, with acrylic paint and colored pencil layered intuitively across the surface. Thick paint is applied using an impasto technique, creating bold, raised textures that catch the light and add physical depth. Soft greens, warm oranges, and creamy neutrals move around the collaged image, reinforcing the feeling of openness and motion, while the word free anchors the piece with a sense of release and possibility.
