This is an original painting I created entitled After the Rain. It is a dreamy abstract landscape inspired by that fresh, peaceful feeling when a storm has passed and the world seems to come alive again. Lush greens and watery blues surround a tiny cottage, while birds move across the sky and small touches of pink dot through the landscape. Drips and expressive marks give the piece a sense of water still moving through the scene.

I wanted this painting to feel like a little place you could escape into. It's a quiet, happy world where life moves a little slower and, for a moment, there’s nowhere else you need to be.

The painting is signed on the front and back. It is framed in a black floating frame and ready to hang.

Exchange Policy

I want every collector to feel confident bringing an original painting into their home. If within 7 days of delivery you feel an exchange would be a better fit, the artwork may be returned in its original condition for studio credit. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

Because each painting is one-of-a-kind, refunds are not offered. If a returned artwork arrives with damage or signs of use, the cost of restoration or loss in value will be deducted from the studio credit.
